Group Buy: Narrow Body Splitter Or Skirts
Hey folks,
We've had enough of a request log to talk us into bringing ZR1 Style narrow body aero to the marketplace, so we're going to make a front splitter and matching side skirts available.
These will fit the Base C6.
So, we're going to let the first 10 pieces produced for cheap, so get them while the're available. (We'll begin shipping the second week of January)
Standard Color Options are Carbon Flash Metallic or Black. (Custom colors available for a small upcharge)
$350 Shipped anywhere in the continental United States.
Grand Sport Pic for attention and quality reference.

Fellas.... I need you to help us out here.
These are $350 for a front splitter or for a set of side skirts, fiberglass composite, paint either black of carbon flash.
Even the companies selling skirts and splitters that are one single layer of carbon fiber with a bunch of fiberglass behind it are close to 500 bucks.
How would a 100% solid carbon splitter or pair of skirts be less than a Chinese made single layer of carbon fiber.
If we could do that and make money, we definitely would, but that's crazy money and below cost to even make them.
PM sent DB.

Will these be a similar design as your widebody version? I like the extra wide mounting area.
If so, I'll take a set. First choice would be carbon fiber, second would be black.

If you look at our C6 and C7 side skirts, adding that back side flange is sort of "our thing", because we like the cantilever effect: the harder the skirt pushed down outside the edges of the body, the more firmly it's planted at the body underneath.
That also means the standard body components will have the same G3 Design Feature.
Carbon and fiberglass are both available.
I'll DM you ordering info shortly.

You have two options.
1. "No Drill"
You use existing factory bolts at the front and back of the rockers to mechanically fasten it to the car, then you can use double sided tape at the center to tighten it at the body.
It leaves a gap in the width of the tape at the body, which is hard to see, but it also makes removal a little easier.
Or
2. Factory Style Install
We use the same existing factory bolts fore and aft, but we add a more permanent 3/16" wide-flange rivet system.
It's super quick AND makes the skirt sit INCREDIBLY tight to the body.
This is how I did it on my own ZO6, as well as how I recommend it be done for the best fitment all-around.
To give you an example of what to expect in terms of fitment, here's a set we're working with today for a local client.
As you can see, it's not even bolted up, but just light pressure from my foot holds it perfectly in place to leave a nice, clean line at the body.
The Base-Line will give you the same fitment.
Soft fitting a Carbon Flash side skirt and uncleared Carbon Fiber Gurney Flap
