Default cluster/headlights question

Hello
I am new to owning a 2006 c6 corvette,& I have a quick question. How to i keep my cluster lights on or bright when my headlights are on?
Any help would be much appreciated.

When you turn on the headlights at night, the cluster lights are dimmed slightly so as not to distract you. The passenger compartment is dark at night so the cluster need not be as bright as during the day.

I don't know how to defeat that unless you trick up the Dash Light Sensor into thinking its daylight.

The control is on the lower left side of the dash. Down by knee.

If you don't have the owner's manual, here it is. It has much needed info for a first time buyer.
Do you know how to get out of the car if you lose power and the electrical door push button doesn't work? or if a passenger is in the car without a FOB, and they want out?

Yup everything is controlled by that sensor. You can only adjust the clusters brightness at night when the headlights are on. When the sensor thinks it is daylight the cluster is at it's brightest with no adjustment.

Assuming the control is at its brightest, I don't know if you can make the cluster lights brighter after they are dimmed by the light sensor. Car is away for the winter so I can't try that.

You guys are making way more out of this then need be. During daylight ours when the headlights are off and the sensor senses this there is NO ADJUST ABILITY. When the headlights are on you can use the cluster dimmer switch to your hearts content. End of story.
