Have you tried using the supplied key tucked inside the FOB through the trunk key hole and emergency door opening pull lanyard?
If you can get inside the back end of the car, that lanyard is on the top of the driver's side wheel covering. If you can't find it, work your way up to the space between the driver's door and the driver's seat.. There will be a door release handle just in front of the driver's seat next to the door. Pull it.
the cracks won`t really stop it working? The batteries will be dead?Happened to me just the other day, both fobs not detected, after 4 years I put new batteries in them both and back to normal.
How's your car's battery? That might need to be replaced. I just replaced mine this weekend. My car wouldn't recognize either of my FOBs even though the charger said the car's battery was fully charged. The battery had been going out for awhile so I knew it was time for a new one. I put the new one in and the car started right up.
That isn't going to do a lot of good if he can't get into the car.
|Never said i was Smart like yourself or i could get him into car. Was my poor attempt to get him into a unbroken fob case.
I knew you would be along to get him into car....lol
