Tires
I heard great reviews on the Firestones, but they no longer make a rear tire size for the C6.
From my research on just about every brand, the only current C6 Run Flat choice appears to be Michelin: Pilot Super Sport ZP or AS/3 Plus ZP.
FYI: I've looked at Coopers, Nitto, BFG, Flaken, Bridgestone, Firestone, Yoko, Kumho, Dunlop, Pirelli & Hankooks. All but Flaken have responded "no such size in a run flat". (I do not want Goodyears.)
Not that Michelin would be a bad choice, but It would be nice if there were a few manufacturers to choose from.

Edit: Never mind, 30 tires not 30 sets. Only 5 are available for the rears.

longer lasting? Not necessarily, depends on the rating of the compound. There are quite a few non run flats that use a softer compound that won’t last as long.

And it could be tricky to tow a C6 with a flat tire - yes it would have to be flat-bedded but I would worry about an inexperienced tow truck driver trying to haul my C6 up onto the bed. Or maybe a flatbed would not be available at the time.
And you are not likely to get a blowout with a run flat.
And there have been advances made in the last 10 years on run flats. They will never be as good as a Non RF, but they are becoming more acceptable.
And yes my last flat tire was probably in the 70's. But for me it's not worth the risk, however slight.
Peace of mind.

As per my post above, I said I would ask Bridgestone re the Potenza RE960AS Pole Position RFT. Here is their comment:
"The Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position RFT is one of our tires that has been discontinued. Sincerely,
Miesha A."
Tire Rack and others are selling what they have in inventory. I have no problem with this, except I better act fast if I want to go the Bridgestone route.
Thanks,
