LT and LZ differences

Hello!
I have a C2 and a C3 and I'm in the market for a C6 Gran Sport manual shift convertible. Can someone explain the difference between LT1,LT2, LT3 and LT4 and what are LZ's?

The LT's are the package differences, LT1 lower optioned to the LT4 highest options available!

1LT, 2LT, etc refers to the options packages. 1LT being the lowest level and 4LT being the highest. Those option codes refer to base and Grand Sport models. For Z06, the codes are 1LZ, 2LZ, etc. For ZR1s, it is 1ZR, 2ZR, etc.

If you can get your hands on a sales brochure, it breaks down options available at each level. I imagine there are web resources as well. Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but those codes were implemented for C6 and above.

LS2 is the standard 400 HP engine for the base coupe & vert for model yeas 2005 - 2007. LS3 is the 430 HP engine that replaced the LS2 for model years 2008 - 2013. LS7 is the 505 HP engine for the Z06. LS9 is the 638 HP engine in the ZR1 for 2009 - 2013.

LZs are the option packages for the Z06.

Thanks for the responses. I am trying to find what the 2LT has over the 1LT, the 3LT over the 2LT and the 4LT over the 3LT???

Depends on the model year. I have those listings for some model years. What model year C6 are you talking about?

The brochures for each year of Corvette are available for free online in PDF format and should answer all your questions. Which options specifically depends on the year.

I found the option codes, but I don't see any for backup camera. Do any of these have a backup camera??? If any car needs a backup camera, these do.

No C6 has an OEM backup camera, and yes, it could sure use one.

Not to nit-pick, but when you say LT(X), that's an engine designation. When you say (X)LT, that's an option trim level. There is no such thing as LT3, and LT2 is being used for the first time in the C8. It's the base engine for the new car. They did make an LT4 engine both in the mid 90s and the C7 Z06 gets what is called an LT4 supercharged version.
