Question About C6 Chrome Wheels
I think I read somewhere that factory chrome wheels sometimes have a clear powder paint surface protection. I was thinking about using laquer thinner to clean the chrome....maybe not a good idea if they have a clear paint-like coating surface protection since I'd probably remove the coating.

Mine are real Chrome but keep in mind the barrel is painted. So any of the cleaners that you put in there or going to raise hell with that paint. Some people remove all of it and just have a polished aluminum inside which kind of think I might do with my own because I've used various cleaners on them and pretty well ruined that gray paint inside.

I have never used anything but the leftover car wash on my chromies. After they dry I use Eagle One Nevr-Dull. They are almost 8 years old and still look brand new.
