Default Another Tire Question

Because of the wide body I have only been able to find three different tire brands that have the 325/30/19 and they are Michelin, Firestone and Hankook.
I have the Michelin Pilot Super Sports on the car now. While I have no real issue with them, I just fined that they are the most expensive and the car is more of a garage queen then a daily driver. So my first selection was the Firestone Indy 500 , then the Hankook and last one is the Michelin. While I like the Firestone, I read on here that they no longer are producing them yet there are some available on the market.
Any info on the Hankook?

How did you come to that conclusion?

I've got the Hankooks and like them. I like them more than the Super Sports I had previously. But yeah, there's plenty of other options in tires... the question is if any of them are worth getting over the Hankooks.

The discontinued Firestones are the Wide Oval series. Not sure about the Indy 500 series. Like my tire guy told me, he can still get the Wide Ovals but they are left over stock. The same may be true with the Indy 500's or they may still make them. I am sure a tire shop can tell you what is up.

The OP is looking for 325/30 -19" rear tires for his wide body (GS or Z06)

I don't think they ever made Firestone Wide Ovals or Firestone Indy 500 in that size.

They do make the Indy 500 in that size. I went back and looked at the post that referred to more options. I have narrowed it down to either the Hankook or the Firestone.

I did look at your link and yes there are more the the three I listed and I guess I should have mention that Goodyear was a non-starter. That is what I took off when I installed the Michelin's. The Coopers don't interest me and beside they are a close out and it stated they were sold out. Continental and Bridgestone were looked at, but I passed. Looks like I have narrowed it down to Hankook or the Firestone Indy 500 series
Thanks for the post.

Hankooks have been great tires on my GS ... Good wear, good ride, good traction and they are not as noisy as other tires I have had. And best of all, the price is right !

Here are a set of Hankooks on the car ...
