My husband passed away in May of 2018. I have kept his 2013 60th Anniversary Edition 427. It has been garage kept, registered, insured, and has been driven by friends since I feel the car is way too powerful for me to handle. It has been posted for sale on VetteFinders with only one interested buyer. Suggestions? Would like to sell it and purchase something that I can enjoy driving.
My condolences,
I have never been very patient selling anything. Cars or motorcycles. The couple thousand I figured I'd make selling, having strangers coming to the house IF they show up, having to stay home.. I just go trade them off and get what I want.
I want to thank everyone for their Condlences, comments, advice, and suggestions. I appreciate everyone taking the time to weigh in. I used the window sticker info when listing the car on VetteFinders and it is a 60th Anniversary Edition. I too am very skeptical of scams and having individuals at my home looking at the car. I do have support from our Corvette Club. Thanks again. I am not very tech savvy so I hope this message gets out to all of you who contributed to my post.

Make sure they're being up front with you, make them show you the book value and if it's in exceptional condition add a few thousand. Go in armed with comparable ads
I’m not sure if this is your ad, color and location look correct https://www.vettefinders.com/index.c...e-for-sale.htm The price looks right but pictures would surely help. Also, not sure how many cars sell from Vette Finders, as I really do not see them mentioned much. Seems like years ago they were famous for scammers (I could be thinking of another sight).
Wish you the best of luck and I’m sure others can provide you valuable information.
That may not be the correct ad. That ad states it is Night Race Blue. If it is a true 60th Anniversary Edition - it would be white w/a blue interior.
Note to OP - Sorry for your loss. Like others have stated, pics do wonders for ad's.
Also, all 2013's have the 60th Anniversary badging but the 60th Anniversary Edition model is white w/blue interior.

Sorry for your loss...Find someone in your family/friend circle you can trust to make sure you get a an honest deal selling it...Better yet drive it...they are wonderful to drive.
The car in question is indeed a Nightrace Blue / Cashmere 427 1SB. I know this as a member of the Cumberland Valley Corvette Club because it has been advertised in our monthly newsletter the past few months, previously for $52,999 and a couple months ago reduced to $49,999 and still way overpriced in my humble opinion. Everything has a selling point and this one hasn't sold because it is priced well above that point. While it is a 427 convertible, NRB is not the most popular color and trim level 1SB is likely keeping other buyers away too. Feel for the woman and my condolences to her but the longer she waits the less she'll receive, winter or not.
Thank you for your post. I have reduced the price in other publications several times but have not done so in yours. I have been given so much advice on the price. What price range would you suggest?
1SB is turning buyers away? What would make you think that? People that spend money on nice cars want nice options, and 1SB includes the big ones. While you don't get the top trim interior, I doubt 90% of buyers would care.
I can see the market for NRB being smallit isn't my favrotire color, but lots of people like it.
IMO, 52 is high. It's a 427 in overall an undesirable color. If it was sayz white with a red interior, all black, red or yellow on black, or something very desirable and rare like that, maybe. But this car is just a nice car. I think real world, if it was advertised correctly and in the right places, it could to 43 to 47k. But it has to be sold the right way.
Honestly, I don't recommend this often, but I would see if you could list it on bringatrailer.com, as they line up a photographer and will write the listing for you. It typically isn't a great place to sell vettes, and you may not get as much out of it, but it could be easier to sell through them than trying to sell it on your own. Make sure you get offers from carmax, carvana, and the local dealer before you talk to hem, as they will want to set your reserve way too low. Ironically, they set reserves on their bread and butter cars (911s, m3s, etc) way too high.
