Over the weekend, I had my battery in and out a couple of times while I was installing a Kenwood head unit. Today is the first day I've driven it for an extended period. I drove for close to 50 miles and then I got a TPMS light. As I was almost at my destination, I did what I needed and came back out and started the car and the light was extinguished. I visually checked my tires and the DIC showed I had 34 psi in one tire and the other three at 32 psi. So I drove back home and at about 50 miles, I got another TPMS light. Got home, shut the car down and restarted it and the light was again extinguished.
I've got a 2008 base and have had it for about 4 years. It had new wheels and tires when I bought it so I don't know if the sensors are OEM or not. Anyone ever have something like this happen? Could it be the sensors are on their last legs?
I looked up part numbers and came up with 25758221 and 25758220. Which one is correct?

OEM Part Number: 10354988, 25758220, 20076, 550-2408 (tpms.com)
No. Drivers front was 34 psi and the rest were 32 psi on the DIC. Didn't check with a guage.
The previous owner of our 2007 C6 replaced the original Goodyear F1 tires with Michelin Pilot SS ZP tires in 2014 2 years before we acquired the car in 2016. His tire store convinced him that the TPMS sensors didn't need to be replaced. In the spring of 2017 we started to get the TPMS warnings as one of the sensors, the left front started to fail. I ordered a set of the OEM Schrader 20076 sensors and had them installed with no further problems.
Sound like a weak TPMS battery, DIC should tell you which tire, I have had all mine replaced over the years but still get the light sometimes. That being said ALWAYS check your tire pressure with a gauge.

Sounds like a bad/failing TPMS battery. I'm thinking of replacing mine here in a few weeks when I replace the original tires when the car was manufactured. I don't want to have to do them in a year or so because I didn't want to spend the money now. So I'm going to shell out a few more $$ and just do them now as preventative maintenance.

I stated the readings that I got on the DIC. How would I determine which battery is weak? I agree with replacing all sensors at the same time.
I also ignore it. I know what's in the tires. I will change them when I wear out the tires. Also I really dont like the blob of black glue/ adhesive left behind from rebalancing the tires. You're not gonna get it off painted barrels, that's the truth!
