Took the dive today and installed the Alpine radio. Wow what an awesome deck. Display in huge, sound is awesome and android auto is amazing. Beats the factory nav radio by leaps and bounds.

How difficult is to install? I know the wiring should be plug and play but how about getting the old unit out? Is there a PDF around to look at? Just asking. Also anyone replace that has Nav unit?

You bet, glad to help. If you choose to do this, something else you might be interested in is how to reuse the stock GPS and XM radio antennas with an aftermarket system, I did a write-up concerning this, if you're interested in reading it you can find it here. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-xm-tuner.html It makes for a little cleaner, easier install.
Again, thank you for taking the time to document everything.
No problem, and you'll find literally thousands of people on this forum all willing to help with any other questions you may have, and we'll all tell you that an aftermarket stereo upgrade is well worth the effort because of the better sound and functionality of them over the stock systems.
