Default Intake resonator...
Has anyone trimmed off that intake resonator on a base C6...and capped it off? Was it much louder when really getting on throttle?
Are there any drawbacks?

It's a fairly common mod, or you can use a z06 intake for a cleaner look. It's not going to make a huge difference in sound, but it will make some.

I found this thread doing a google search. All roads lead back to this forum...

On that note...does anyone have an LS7 intake they want to part with?

I used a Z06 intake, it opens up room to put an oil catch can in that spot.
