Default Shocks recommendation

My 2012 C6 has original shocks. They are starting to ride poorly. What replacement do you recommend? OEM? Any performance brand?
FYI, this is my daily drive. I do not have adjustable shocks.

Thanks!

I think OEM is your best option.

If it were my car I'd put Bilstein shocks on. YMMV

If you want a little bit firmer ride with more stability go with
Bilstein B6s. Bilstein B6s.

If you would like even firmer go with the B8s...sorry I can't find a link for the B8s on amazon.

Replacing them is quite easy. I did mine by myself in 2.5 hours...while watching the Boston Bruins beat up on the Canadians...so I was a bit distracted.

Also agree that Bilstein that most fit your application is probably the best option. Not sure if you do anything else but daily drive, but the Bilstein DRM only a bit more are re-valved for the corvette. Will control the oversteer in bumpy corners a bit better if you are an aggressive driver. I like them but I also autocross and the reason I got them. Street only guys love the DRMs also.

I replaced my OEM's with the Bilsteins B8 for my Z51 suspension. For a base suspension, I would go with the Bilstein B6.

I am happy with the Bilsteins for the ride control.

Thank you everyone! So, it looks like the Bilstein B6's have the vote. Quite expensive though, but I need the upgrade bad.

Not really... only about $100 more a set over stock last time I checked and you get a better shock.

I changed mine out to Bilsteins. Have held up well. Got them through Tire Rack. Was the best price at the time.
