Lost all my settings in the DIC (don't know what happened). Push OPTIONS button to reset everything & I get messeage NO OPTIONS AVAILABLE. Anybody know what this is about? Miss my settings!!!
Regardless of which fob you are using, you should be able to recall driver 1 and 2 settings by pressing the appropriate button on the driver's door. A6 must be in park, M6 must have ebrake on. If that works, then you can sort out whatever is up with the fob you are using.
If you changed fobs, then the one you are using is not #1 or #2 regardless of the number stamped on the fob. If you bought the car used, what has probably happened is that one of the original fobs was lost, and another one was added in using the 'short procedure'. This would make the new fob #3 (or even #4 if a 3rd fob had already been added at one point). The fob number is actually determined by the order in which they are programmed, so the number on the fob case can be misleading. Only fobs number 1 or 2 can recall memory positions. If the fob you were using before can recall the memory features, then this is what has happened. If your car was delivered to a US dealer, you can reprogram the fobs yourself to be 1 and 2 using the 'long' procedure - instructions are in your owner's manual, and on this forum here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...tructions.html
One point I should have mentioned: If you elect to perform the long procedure, make sure you test the glove box slot first using the method in the forum procedure above. There is a (small) risk that the antenna behind the glove box slot has become dislodged and won't allow you to program fobs. The antenna can be replaced - instructions are on the forum, but if you start the long procedure and erase all known fobs, and the slot doesn't work, you'll end up with no working fobs.
