Default 2008 Vette.

I have some 285 all season tires on the rear. N im trying to find the launching spot on my stock Vette, i notice that once i hit 2000 rpms i start spinning. Therefore, i have to launch at 1500 n i get 0 wheel spin. What do u think about that? Sounds bout right?

Definitely tires. High performance summer tires hook way better. Mine hook like drag radials.

Your problem is your all season tires. No all season tire is going to be even close to perform as good as a performance summer tire. There also different tiers of summer performance tires.
keep this in mind though...The more aggressive, the less comfortable... the more comfortable the less aggressive.

Reading this stuff always wondered how the torque tube holds up? Seems like it would just shred the rubber couplers after a while.

The more aggressive, the quicker the wear, also.

pretty much better performance tires gives up practicality and that practically goes down with better performing tires even in summer performance tires and their tires such ***: high performance summer, ultra performance summer, max performance summer and so on
