By chance does NPP need any servicing like a spray of silicon or something like that.

Good example, thought I'd blown P/S bimodal MUFFLER on my '08 Z06.
Wanted it kept as stock, so thought no big deal.
Then, priced OEM replacements cans.
Checkout what OEM bimodal cans for a C6 run.

No, a Corvette isn't an exotic and thank God.
Corvettes can be expensive as they are, Chevrolet or not. YMMV

Matticus, can you provide the part number for the dual mode exhaust actuator and did the one you got off ebay work for you?
