Default Vin number decoding

Hi All, Question for those more experienced with VIN decoding. The VIN on my C6 is 1G1YY34U755133707. If the fifth digit is a "Y" what model is that? I can figure out most of it, but some help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Must not have been very important to HER. She hasn't been back on the forum since she posted the question.

Thanks. I bought this car a couple months ago and was not sure how it came from the factory. I have removed all the cosmetic changes the previous owner made. trying to get her back to original.
thanks again!

Coding the option package name into the VIN didn't start until the model year 2010. It is in the 5th character of the VIN. Your VIN says you have a 2005.

Cool! Love this car. Its is a hundred times more fun than every other car I've ever owned, corvettes, triumphs and even better than my 2019 Camaro. Just a pure joy to drive.

BTW, I noticed you commented about no reply from me...Sorry, I hate to admit this (but I will) I only get on this site at work, wink, wink.

I haven't been at work a whole lot lately, so.....

Apparently some of the numbering in the sequence described above changed in '12 MY.

The 5th place in my VIN is a "W", the 7th place is a "D", the 10th place is a "C" and mine is a '12 GS Coupe.

Revised model year 2010. 5th character = W says it's a GS with the 3LT package on an Automatic Transmission
7th character is for the Restraint System, don't have the definition for that.
10th character is the model year, C = model year 2012.
Coding the option package name into the VIN, beginning with the 2010 MY C6s.

Starting with 2010 GM began coding 1LT, 2LT and the model etc into the VIN.

The fifth digit denotes model/equipment.

This is for the fifth digit on a 2010 and up

A 1LT MT
B 2LT MT
C 3LT MT
D 4LT MT
E 1LT AT
F 2LT AT
G 3LT AT
H 4LT AT
J Z06 1LZ
K Z06 2LZ
L Z06 3LZ
M ZR1 STD
N ZR1 3ZR
P GS 1LT MT
R GS 2LT MT
S GS 3LT MT
T GS 4LT MT
U GS 1LT AT
V GS 2LT AT
W GS 3LT AT
X GS 4LT AT
