I have kids and a job so to take off for 3 days wasn't really an option for me.

Just said that it was the market price. I live in the panhandle of Florida so I guess it's not a highly traveled route from the north east which is why the first company couldn't get a driver to pick it up. It came from a little town to a little town.

Excellent!
Might even see a UFO, or 2.

W/ a family & other obligations, worth the $375 bump.

I say it was hardly worth mentioning.

I passed a gas station whose price seemed high. When I reached a station two miles further down the road whose price was 26 cent more a gallon. I bought the gas there rather then backtracking two miles. Glad I got that off my chest.

First off...congrats on your new to you Corvette! When I found the one I wanted I purchased a one way airline ticket. The dealership rep picked me up from the airport and brought me to the car. Signed some paperwork and I was off in my new-to-me C6! Not all people can do this but that's what I recommend when they ask. Again...enjoy your new ride!

Wasn't trying to brow beat you just didn't understand why the same company would charge so much more mere days later. Glad it arrived safe and sound and you are now enjoying it. Could have been worse.

Just a quick driveway pic. Hard to concentrate on work when that is sitting out there!

80 here today. Barber shops re opened in FL yesterday. Going to use getting a haircut as an excuse to go for a ride. Plus, I could really use a haircut!

And if you forget to stop for the haircut there's always tomorrow.

We have lots of hotels near me, and not one is open. A little difficult to make a multi day road trip with no place to stay for the night. It was left unsaid because pretty much everyone knows this.
