Long Time Dreamer... Finally made it happen!

I just purchased a Triple Black 2008 Convertible 3LT! It's soon to be inside of a covered transport and on it's way from New Mexico (I'm in Arkansas). Found a gem with the Magnetic-Ride with the Mellinial-Proof Option (6-Speed Manual).

I've already got a Skip-Shift Delete Module on order.. anything else That I should be looking to get right away?

I'll post some pics upon arrival.. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Congratulations!
I love my 08 3LT Z51 convertible. It's the most fun I can have with my clothes on.
You will have a hard time removing the smile from your face.

If you have the dual-mode exhaust, pick up a Mild-2-Wild switch.
One of the best mods is a new MGW shifter.
As always with any used car, replace all of the fluids.
One other thing that I did is to use the 303 cleaner and protectant for my convertible top.

The RPO code OLD for "Millennial Proofing Package" actually includes chrome wheels, color matched taillight louvers, and corvette branded white sneakers with velcro latches.

Jokes aside, congrats on the new ride.

True dat.
Sounds beautiful, what're the miles? When's it due?

While stock shifter's adequate, consider upgrading w/ a MGW.
Like a precision bolt-action, it has to be experienced.
Big bang-for-the-buck mod to be enjoyed w/ every shift.

Won't be hard to enjoy, AR has plenty of great backroads to explore.
You're in for a treat.

Congratulations on your new Corvette. Being black I would begin hanging out in the Car Care section here on the Forum. You will need to start putting together you detail shop now to keep the black looking good. Remember: Black is not a color, it is a career!

Yes, a perfect list, one more suggestion, do these in this order:

replace all of the fluids.
Use the 303 cleaner and protectant for convertible top, apply wax/clear coat protectant if it has not been done already
Purchase Mild-2-Wild switch, easy 10 min install
I have not done the MGW shifter.yet but it's on the top of my list.
While your doing the install, address the heat issue as noted in the following video:

Congratulations on your new-to-you Corvette!! What exhaust does it have? If stock NPP you may consider the Mild to Wild switch or a hard wired version to control the exhaust butterflies.

Please post pics when your vette arrives...

Welcome and congrats on your new ride. You might think about getting a charger for it.
Many C6's seem to need them and having one saves alot of hassles as time goes on.
With it, battery life seems to be a bit better too.
Enjoy your new ride. Miles of smiles ahead.

Mag ride and 6 speed nice. Just a thought non runrock tires have the new ones road force balanced, street alinement, change battery, stock Delco air cleaner, and all fluids. Install C5 clutch spring also good idea to swap out the clutch master cylinder with the upgraded GM one. Its very cheap and easy to do. Change out clutch fluid often DOT 4. Pull spark plug caps and inspect for corrosion apply little silicone grease. Read owners manual. Drive car.
