Gear shifter
I was installing my new gear shift boot on my 2008 base automatic with the help of this forum. Thanks for your help. Today I was restalling
everything. All went back perfectly EXCEPT the gear shift ****. I tried for a hour but no go. If I put the **** in position, I could shift to
all gears but park. I called the dealer and they the shifter assembly will have to be removed to install the ****. Does this sound right ?
