P0601 OBD Code, Traction System Service, Reduced Engine Power
Hello all C6ers,
I have a 2005 C6 Base Corvette, and for the past week I was noticing a check engine light. Yesterday I got it scanned at Autozone with the following OBD code: P0601 and then the check engine light was gone. Today while driving the car slowed down and the following messages popped up on the dashboard 'Reduced Engine Power' and 'Service Traction System' The car then came to full stop, and after 3-4 minutes I restarted the ignition. I would like to inquire if somebody else has had a similar issue? Is the diagnosis due to a faulty ECM? Is it covered by Chevrolet like other auto vehicle makes? How much of a cost estimate I am looking into to fix this issue? Thanks!
