RR tire reads 37psi regardless of actual psi. I looked up the reset procedure and some say you can do in ACC mode with a strong magnet and some say to use a cub tpms tool with the car not running but on. Is this the same as acc mode or is there some trick to do this.
Also my gas cap just spins and I can pull it off in any position. Put on a new gas cap but the check engine light has not gone off yet. I drove it about 25 mi.
This is a 2005 c6 with no mods.

Get a EL-50448 TPMS Reset tool. Your problems are over. ~$20 if I remember

Just be patient and it will go off. You could alternately drive the GM cycle. This assumes you have the correct gas cap.
2005 c6 Mn6 Z51 Coupe here and yes I've had all the same problems.
