It is difficult! Mirror is a very awkward shape. I think most people that wrap them use two pieces and just leave a seam on the bottom. There's a few wrap threads in the C6 section. They both mention the mirrors and front bumper as being somewhat difficult. NOT IMPOSSIBLE THOUGH! I know it's like $900 for carbon fiber mirrors and then they don't fold Wrap seems like the answer.
What brand and flavor CF wrap are you going with? (if you don't mind me asking)
Before I wrapped my halo, I took a 2x2 piece of wrap and tried it on various parts of my C6. Until you squeegee it down, it lifts fairly easily.
Anyway, I eventually tried the passenger side mirror. Granted the wrap had been up and down a couple of times on other parts of the car. And, uh, yeah, no. That is a very advanced skill. Here's a great video if you're interested...
I do not have any brand of CF. Asking for this information. Other CF on vehicle are parts made of carbon fiber. I have found local wrap installer that says he can wrap with matching material. I will see him next week.
Thanks
