OEM or the aftermarket one that has a lighted up LOGO? Opinions? about 150-200 less for the OEM from Chevy
WHo has them and do you like them or pain in A$$?
I have a factory windscreen that I never installed. Wind with top down has never really been an issue for me but a lot of people that have them like them...
I have the WindRestrictor in mine and it does a good job of blocking the wind.Only complaint I have is the seat will rub it some if you have it back too far.

I have one and really like it since I didn't care for the wind noise and buffeting with the top down. It helps a lot but I have the same issue as some others with the seat rubbing on it. If you are tall and need to drive with the seat all the way back it is an issue.
Im glad asked cause I run with the seat all the way back. is it bad enough to damage the seat? could you put something between the two to keep it from rubbing? just asking...
My 13 / 427 came with a Windrestrictor (https://windrestrictor.com/), exclusive package with red LED lights and the etched Corvette logo. At night it really looks fantastic, gets a lot of compliments at evening cruise ins. To augment the look, previous owner added red LED lights under the seats and dash. My only complaint is why the original owner did not go for blue to match the interior color?
If the car did not come equipped with one I know I would have spent the $400+ since the OEM has to come off when you lower the top.

The rubbing doesn't really hurt anything. As a result of the rubbing you get a dull spot on the leather and on the Plexiglass at the point of contact. I advised Wind Restrictor of the issue and they sent me 2 peel and stick patches about 4 square inches in size to apply to the point of contact. The patches are black and a fabric that feels like mouse fur. If you let the seat leather contact the Wind Restrictor it will make an annoying squeaking noise. I will eventually modify my mounting brackets since I'm sure that I could gain another 3/4 of an inch to an inch of clearance without causing a problem.
For any of you that are considering getting the illumination package here is what I've found and installed. I found that if the LED are powered without a dimmer it is too bright and can be annoying during sustained night driving. Check my picture in the above posts to see how bright it is when powered with 12 volts from the tail light circuit. Wind Restrictor also sells a dimmer kit that comes with a control box and push button key chain fob for about $35. I found this dimmer on the web site lightinthebox which is like Aliexpress but contains a lot of LED supplies and equipment. It cost just under $6 and works perfectly. Rather than a key chain fob to control it I fastened the controller to the underside of the console lid with velcro and since it is so thin it doesn't take up any space.

My solution doesn't have a variable dimming feature, but it toned down the brightness. I back down my long driveway and into the garage, and the illumination made it very difficult to see at night with the top up. I added a lighted rocker switch ($3) to the bottom of the Wind Restrictor so I could turn the illumination off. Evidently the resistance in the switch is enough to dim the LED to about half its original brightness. Much better at that level, and I can easily turn it off any time I want.
