Default Tunnel drapes, lets see them.

I have most of a roll of leftover material from the console cover I had made, I am thinking about having tunnel drapes made from it. Please post pics of yours to help me make up my mind.

I have never seen a tunnel drape that I like! Everyone I have seen has the same old criss crossed stitching that goes with nothing else in the car! Do they offer any practical use, such as sound deadening or heat reduction? If they do, could somebody please make them that aren't so damn ugly??

Thread wasn’t about who doesn’t like them. Not sure why the haters bother coming in if they don’t like them. Thread title was pretty clear to me so stfu if you don’t like them

I agree the pleated look reminds me of my grandmother’s sofa. The tunnel drapes do cover the area where the OEM carpet has tendency to shrink and no longer stay tucked up under the center console.

Lots of Karen’s get their feelings hurt if you say you don’t like something. They tend to cuss like little bitches. I hear Midol works wonders.

The photo in post 2 looks nice.
Maybe the OP is asking about alternative stitching options or leather and thread colors?
Maybe even solid leather with no stitching?

FWIW I have not seen any drapes other than the diamond stitched ones.

Alternate stitching options or coverings would be great. Anything that does not look like a carpet remanent would help a lot.

Always looked like another $2K appearance mod to me. Rather spend that on tires, fuel and insurance premiums rather than add diamonds to my interior. McAndrew always with the gorgeous pictures. Interior looks great! Does your console lid have a lock?!

Grady - Very nice looking. Who did it for you?
I am looking to do the tunnel, but the prices I have received were way expensive for me.

Grady, along with the floor that actually looks like it belongs. Nice job.

Thank you to those who posted pics so far. I am still not sure what I want to do, so if anyone else has pics please post them.

Grady, that looks much more tastefully done! The black stitching rather than the contrasting white looks much better, in my opinion and it goes with the seat pattern.

Every time I see that diamond pattern I think about old harbor freight moving blankets. Are they now the signal of class and elegance? Can we choose the pattern? Does anyone have anything different as far as tunnel drapes go? I like them better than the carpet on the tunnel.

Ceballos Customs Tempe, AZ. Frank Ceballos knows what he is doing.

This project was very expensive but I wanted something completely different.

Thanks. I did not want the diamonds jumping out with contrast stitching. When in person it is more subdued than in photos.

There are many patterns other than diamonds but I was going for the casket look.
