Default Delco Ceramic Brake Pads

A number of members are speaking highly of the Delco Ceramic Brake Pads bought from amazon. Are these the Advantage or the Professional series?
Any thoughts on the Akebono Ceramic Pads?
Thanks

If you're talking about these,
88909667 – Front ceramic pad kit
88909668 – Rear ceramic pad kit

I put them on my 2006 at around 10K miles, I now have 52K miles. They perform great, with almost no dust, and no squeal.
I replaced the original Z51 pads with these because of too much brake dust and squeal.

I changed my brake pads with the ceramics at approx 50k miles, and now have over 110k miles.
Brake dust was reduced by 90% and I didn't see any significant braking losses.

Thanks for the replies!
That looks like the way I will go.
Does anyone have any experience with the Akebono Ceramic pads from what I have read they seem good as well only a bit higher priced.
Hard to tell if one reads the blurbs from the Dealers.
thanks,

Unless you are getting the 170 or 171 series AC Delco pads the other pads are made off shore, read China. The 170 and 171 pads are the OE and OES pad for the GM applications. So for the Corvette that would be a semi metallic pad with includes noise and dust. Except for the 2013 C6 OE pad which was a ceramic pad made by Akebono. Akebono is GM's largest pad supplier and are all ceramic. Akebono created the ceramic pad back in the 70's. It is also made in the USA. Akebono has over 30 OE formulations that they use in their Aftermarket pads. Unless you are an OE supplier you are using a non OE formulation that works OK. That is why Akebono is more expensive.
You don't use any ceramic pad if you are going to track you Corvette. I do drive aggressive in the canyons and have never had a problem. Track driving can create heat pushing 800 degrees or more. This is where semi metallic works best. Normal driving pushes maybe 400 degrees.
Changing to a ceramic pad greatly reduces noise and dust.

I replaced my 2013 Corvette w/ J55 Heavy Duty Brake Package with the Akebono ACT731 and ACT732. Factory pads squealed constantly. Akebono pads are super quiet.

Thanks for the replies!
Does anyone know the difference between Akebono ACT series Pads and ASP series? I have been trying all morning to find the answer. They are both Ceramic, The ASP are in the Akebono Improved Stopping Power section. The ACT series are in the Daily Driver section of Acebono. With no differentiation .
The ACT731 front, and ACT732 rear are in the Daily Driver category.
The ASP731 front and ASP732 rear are in the Improved stopping power and HD towing and Police vehicle section. The prices are all pretty close.with the ASP series a few dollars more.
I think I am going with the ACT series
Anyone have additional experience or thoughts? wish I could reach an ACEBONO person but I have not bee able to.
Thanks for your comments "steig" have you found your ACTs less dusty? Do you find the stopping power to be on par with OEM?

Have you looked at the Carbotech 1521 pad?

The Carbotech Bobcat 1521™ is our high performance street compound that is our most successful compound. The Bobcat compound is known for its awesome release and modulation, along with unmatched rotor friendliness. Like our AX™ & XP™ line of compounds, Bobcat 1521™ is a Ceramic based friction material offering minimal rotor damage and non-corrosive dust. Bobcat 1521™ offers outstanding performance, even when cold, low dusting and low noise with an excellent initial bite. This compound’s virtually perfect linear torque production provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. Bobcat 1521™ operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 900°F. Bobcat 1521™ is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle, police cruiser. The Bobcat 1521™ compound has been found to last two-three times longer than OE pads you can purchase at a dealership or national retailer. That’s one of the beauties of Carbotech Ceramic brake compounds. Bobcat 1521™ is NOT recommended for any track use.
