C6 with right front wheel senser reading zero, will that keep the car from going into comp mode. The senser seems to be bad and my choice of driving modes are TC or no TC only. Thanks for any info.
I believe you're referring to the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor System) for the RT Front.
Is the display on the dash/instrument cluster (DIC - Driver Instrument Cluster) reading 00, or XX?
Most likely, the batteries in the TPMS Sensor have died and the whole sensor unit inside the tire needs to be replaced and then reprogrammed (requires a TPMS capable tool).
Check for your specific part and choice.
Example: ACDELCO TPMS171K {#19383800} Professional
Not sure about the answer to your question. Why not put it in the mode you want and see what happens?
As far as your TPMS, go to Discount Tire/Americas Tire and see if it will reset. That happened to mine twice and Discount Tire reset it for free for me both times. Not sure what they do exactly but they had my car for less than 10 minutes and when they brought it back my TPMS was working again. My original TPMS were finally replaced after 13 years but they were still working when I switched them out when installing new tires.

I'm sure that it need to be replaced was just asking if it is whats causing my selector switch to not go into any other mode but TC or no TC.Maybe it the computer thinks the tire is flat it won't let it go into the comp mode or active handling mode.
Then it must be the TPMS. They are a mixed blessing. When they work it is a good thing to have. But it seems they fail and are expensive to replace. I've had issues with them and it cost quite a bit to replace.
If the car detects a low or flat tire, it will not go into "limp mode."
It will flash a message on the DIC to the effect that you should go 55 or less, but will not hamper anything whatsoever.
If you truly have a flat tire, then I would heed this. If you have a bad sensor and your tire is fine, then ignore it and replace sensor at your leisure.
No limp mode,no message,no flat tire message other than the 00 for the right front.Would this cause the mode selecter switch not to work.It won't go into Comp mode or active handling mode,or could the switch be going bad.
If it detects low pressure or a non-responding sensor, it will limit your abilities with active handling. You can only turn off traction control at this point. You will get very aggressive AH if you start taking corners aggressively.
Thanks,Solaris that was my concern guess i will go ahead and change all four.About the same time as this came up i had the shifter boot and the E brake boot changed out by a local upholsterer thought it might be not getting the mode switch plugged back in good.

I agree with Solaris. I have a couple of dead TPMS and I'm waiting until my next tire change to replace them all. But I also noticed that I can't put the car into competition mode.
I took my grandson(18 Years old) on a spirited ride in the north Ga. mountains yesterday for about 3 hours and was checking the selector switch and the comp mode was actvated and the RF tire pressure was 32.Not sure why but its back to normal now,Life is good!lol

Cool. I got one of my new but bad TPMS sensors replaced earlier today and the fun is back in mine, too.
