HUD Harness Issues
So I ordered the HUD from CorvetteMods. I know, shame on me. They sent me to harness below which is too short. Even without the dash installed it will not physically reach. Due to corvettemods lack of response, I ordered a harness off eBay. I got the same harness! Am I missing something. The connection to the HUD is on the right side of it and the controls are on the left side of the dash. This thing does not physically fit.

I installed the eBay harness in my previous GS when I installed HUD & it was super tight but I was able to get it to clip in the switch. I had to have the gauge surround almost all the way pushed in & reach behind the switch to get the harness snapped in.
The OEM harness is definitely longer as I’ve removed the gauge cluster in my Z06 and there’s plenty of length. You could call your local dealer parts department & see if they have the harness or you could rewire the harness with longer wires.

I ordered the same kit from them for my previous C6 - had the same short wire problem. I simply soldered in another wire. Now that you have two harnesses, unless you're going to return one, you can use one to extend the wires on the other. I'd personally recommend soldering for a permanent fix.
