I know on the later year C6’s you can pair an iPhone to the OEM infotainment system via Bluetooth, but can you also listen to your iTunes music the same way, or must one use the aux jack and a cable connection? Hoping that Bluetooth music may be possible on an 2011 or later C6 without having to upgrade the OEM equipment. Thanks.
In my 2011 I copied my entire music library to a cruiser fit USB flash drive and plugged it into the console USB port. Total cost was $9 and it works great. Best of all the entire library is accessed and controlled through the stereo touch screen so you're not messing with both your phone and the cars touch screen.

Thanks Iceaxe. That would be a great option! However, I tried that on a late model Kia we had, but it never worked properly. Was trying to transfer my iTunes library and playlists. Best way I can describe it is that it was wonky. Very hit or miss which songs played, and no playlists worked. I’m not very computer savvy so I’m guessing it was probably something I did wrong in the transfer process. Maybe not formatting something correctly?
Anyway, it looks like the Bluetooth option I was hoping for would require swapping out the OEM system for something aftermarket. Or just be content using an old iPod with the cable connection. At least I’ll be able to keep it stored in the armrest console. Hate having wires, cables or such dangling from the front dash.
As a side note, I’m probably in the minority, but I’d rather have just the in dash radio In lieu of the touchscreen. For the most part, I find them distracting (except for the back up camera) plus I don’t care for all the fingerprints on the screen. But the 08 and later model years I’ve seen without the touchscreen have that aux port connection in the radio head unit itself, ie, in the dash. Is there also an auxiliary port in the console for those models? I know prior to the 08 there is nothing, even in the head unit.
