Default Suspension squeak...

Any guesses what this squeak is on my rear suspension?
VERY noticable going slow over any bumps. Fine at speed (at least not noticeable as car is loud!)

Shocks? Bushings? Car has 150,000 kms, original suspension. I have a good mechanic, just far from me. I usually order my parts myself so I want to know what I need.

Any help greatly appreciated!

My sway bar bushing were dry as a bone and would squeak and pop regularly. Lubed them with some silicone lubricant and been fine ever since.

Sway Bar bushings would be the first thing I changed when it hit approx 75,000KM's. They tend to clunk when worn out rather than squeak.
I then changed out the shocks to Bilstein B8.
I have 175,000KM's on my 2006, and i do not have any squeaks.
Any item that has rubber bushings is a potential area for squeaks. (sway bar end links, shock bushings, composite leaf spring bushings, lower and upper control arm bushings, rear upper control arm bushings etc.)
As mentioned, spray the bushings one at a time to see if you can isolate the area that is causing the squeak.

Good luck.

If it's none of the above, you might want to check your exhaust pipe hanger springs. When the coating wears down, it makes quite a racket when it's metal to metal.

Thanks for the link. Talk about a timely post. I heard a little squeak coming from the rear of my 09 tonight with the windows down. That'll be the first thing I check.

I had exactly that squeak on my 13 GS this spring and sway bar bushings were the culprit. I just lubed them with some silicone spray but they're looking a little rough, will probably end up replacing them this winter.

Yes, I did check those too, I know that's pretty common but definitely not them. Thanks!

Thanks guys! If it is the shocks, I was probably going to upgrade to Bilsteins or Z06 shocks, as I have the rear wide body with 345s.
When I find out the culprit I'll report back.
