We survived Ike and Harvey, so this is just another typical day in the neighborhood. We're ready to assist others where possible also. Stay safe out there.

So to clear up the confusion...There are different levels of Generators.. to make it simple...If you've got a sub $3K unit...it will keep your lights on and power a fridge and maybe a small appliance or two but it cant keep an HVAC running. The higher end models can keep everything running for weeks if necessary.

No confusion here. I have a whole house generator. I would only assume Evil does also.
Yeah, I know, lol. I just don’t care for brisket...and I know that Texas (panhandle area) is fast becoming a major pork producer...although it’ll never exceed cattle in Texas.

Depends on whether you're talking about high density pig farming or "grass fed"... Feral hogs are a huge problem around here.

I would disagree with that. If you are trying to run a central unit yes. I spent a month after Katrina sleeping on the floor of an office with 5 other family members and we ran a window unit to keep it cool at night. You do what you have to do when you have lost everything.
Ugh yet again! This is past old frequently evacuating ! We live in Port Arthur 😩 so guess we need to get a house boat! Weather devices placed up and down Highway 73 Convenience store closed in Port Arthur and gas pumps all out of gas. Port Arthur hotel ( Holiday Inn) shutdown Saw Highway patrol cars around town Walgreens store near my home is closed Various Er’s shutdown too Cvs also closed Sigh 😥
