I have been intermittently getting the P2127 code on a 2009 Automatic(Z51) that says - "Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch 'E' Circuit Low". It has happened at least 6 times now and the car goes into Reduced Power mode. Below are the steps I have taken so far to troubleshoot, but cannot pin point the problem.
1) Replaced the accelerator pedal assembly ( the code did not come for at least a year and half )
2) Replaced the throttle body ( code went away for a month or two)( Probably there was no need to replace, but tried it anyways)
3) On a Foxwell NT-301 I checked the TP% on live feed and the throttle % increase and decrease with my pedal press and release looks normal.
4) I have searched around corvette forum and found some posts with TSB saying - check the "IP to body harness connector". But I'm not sure what harness its referring to.
5) I have visually inspected the wiring that I can see and reach and I don't see any wire housing breaks or deterioration. I have also checked the wiring around the battery and it looks ok.
If I clear the code, it runs fine for some time and then randomly the check engine light pops up with P2127. In the latest event I got a service traction control on the DIC too, but the code scan pointed to just P2127.
Any thoughts on what else I can try to troubleshoot this code ?
You could also used an advanced OBD2 scanner to view and also to data log the live voltage readings on both circuits, to see if there are any voltage fluctuations when driving the car.
If not already performed try force rebooting computers via disconnecting battery a few minutes, reconnect.
*remember to re-index windows once powered back up.
IF this is one of C6's electronic gremlins it might clear code & keep it gone.
Worth a try as this trick has solved many a mysterious codes/issue.
Also, how old's battery?
If >2 y/o, load test it just to eliminate a weak battery as cause.
Common knowledge among longtime owners of C6 a weak battery will create all manner of havoc.
Owners have gone down multiple rabbit holes while racking up a big diagnostic bill when whatever caused it is a fluke easily cleared.
Thanks for responses ancona and Landru.
Landru, as a matter of fact my battery is almost 4 years old and it died yesterday. I attempted to charge it for at least 8 hours yesterday and it would not hold any charge. I hope getting a new battery fixes this problem.
ancona, I will monitor the graphs once i change the battery.
Get a new cell installed, re-index windows and report back to thread.
Sure would be nice if this issue was triggered by a failing cell, or, now completely failed as it were.

I swapped the old battery with a new one and it ran fine for roughly 80 miles. Now the code is back and I have no clue on why.
It was the usual P2127 with Reduced engine power and Service active handling.
What would be the ground location for the accelerator circuit ?
