So I installed a new steering wheel and after doing so the radio controls on the wheel do not work AND the volume on the radio itself only goes down not up. As always I appreciate and welcome any and all suggestions. I reconnected all three clips and it all looked good on the inside.

Did you get the correct clock spring for the new wheel (years is not the same as the wheel you just pulled off), and in some cases, swap/added in the new wires to the new clock spring connectors to the needed locations if different year clock springs?

I had a problem when I disassembled air bag, steering wheel controls and wheel. When I assembled and tried everything the first time, some things did not work. I took everything apart again and cleaned all connections using q tip and toothpick. Re-assembled carefully. All those tiny parts and connections need to be seated perfectly. When I cleaned and re-assembled thoroughly, everything worked.
