Caps for Morimoto headlight sequential connectors
Those of us that have installed the Morimoto headlights on our C6's, and want to have the sequential turn signal feature active, know that this requires unplugging, and leaving unplugged the connectors that are there to activate this sequential feature. The problem with this, is that this leaves these connectors open ended which can leave them prone to dirt, moisture and corrosion of the terminals over time. The most common solution I've seen people try, is to wrap these up with some sort of tape in an effort to protect them. Well, I wanted to come up with something better, as I was concerned that tape could loose its sealing integrity over time. So this is what I came up with, I was able to figure out the type of connectors that are used for these, and for less than $15 (including shipping) I was able to get everything needed to make sealed weather proof caps for these connectors, so alls you have to do is plug them in to the existing connectors off the headlights, and they're well sealed, and protected from the elements, and will remain that way. So to do this, here's what all you'll need, and how you do it.
This is the list and cost of what's needed, (I ordered these from Mouser Electronics) https://www.mouser.com
For a total of $14.85
So this is what you'll get, eight cavity plugs
Two of each, male, and female connectors
So to setting these up is easy, alls you need to do is push in the red terminal retainer clips as shown here.
Install the eight cavity plugs in the back of the connectors
Then simply plug them into the corresponding connectors from the headlights, and that's it, they're now sealed and well protected from the elements, and can be easily removed if wanted.
Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Here are the part numbers if you are wanting to make the waterproof connectors for the Morimoto taillights, if you are using the sequential feature.
282079-2 (you will need 4)
282103-1 (you will need 4)
282081-1 (you will need 8)
My total with the headlight and taillight was under $21 with shipping!
