U1010

Help! 2011 Grand Sport haven't been driven in two months, battery was dead, after charging car started but displayed code U1010 (transmission control module), traction control light on and security light on, when driving car don't want to shift into higher gear. Battery tested out at 13.1. Any thoughts.

Dead and drained batteries can cause some strange codes on the C6.

Disconnect the battery for 20 minutes to allow the computer to reset, reconnect the battery, and than see what happens.

Yeah did that no change, it's at the dealer now but they can't seem to figure it out.

Update: the problem was the TCM wiring harness.
