Default Is It Bad??

That I actually would rather drive my C6 than to drive my C7?

Base C7

C6Z

I love them both, but I truly find myself migrating towards the C6Z on a regular basis. Thoughts?

I bought the C7 first, and I absolutely would have thought that I would prefer it over the older C6. However, the raw power and visceral feel of the C6Z is intoxicating.

Tough choice, The 2017 is awesome and the 2012 GS is a joy to drive. It's a pure Corvette. Love them both enough not to give any up for a C8.

No I don't think it is unusual, I find as cars have become more modern the computers take the fun out of them.

I like the raw feel before everything became drive by wire.

I'd never drive a base C7 over a C6Z...ever. Makes total sense to me!

Went from a 2010 C6GS vert to a 2017 base C7 coupe. Back to a 2013 C6GS coupe.

Do you own the Red C3 behind the Z06 also?

When I met my Husband he had a 16 Base corvette with the 3lt interior. I had a loaded 06 with the mag ride shocks. When it came time to sell one of them we sold the 16. Simply put the base suspension on the c7 was not as agreeable (thats even after I installed the z51 sway bars on it) than my 06 with those mag shocks.

I missed the nicer interior, better transmission, and more power but I liked my 06 better still.

Now if Hubby had gotten a z51 with the mag shocks I am sure we would have kept that car over the 06 any day.

I think that a C6 is a better looking car anyway so I don't blame you for choosing it
