Clock spring help

I have a 2007 corvette base model and my clock spring went out. Ordered one from a guy off eBay that was listed as 2006-2009 but the connector for the horn is different. Does anyone know if I could just splice in the wires from my old clock spring to the new so I can just re-use my old connector. Of course the wire colors are different so now I’m kind of lost. Thanks for the help

connector changed in 07 to the white one. black one is 06.

yeah I should of done some research and checked to make sure instead of going off a eBay seller. You know if there is anyway to still make it work?

You could re-pin it. Would require going through some wiring diagrams, but doable. I have the opposite issue as you do. I have an 06 wheel with 07 clock spring. I don't have radio controls so I only need to use pins 1 and 2 for the horn. haven't gotten to that yet so no horn...

Are you able to return it and order the correct part. It’s about $187 iirc - try www.chevynationparts.net
