Electronic gremlins
My car is haunted. Got in car this morning the outside temp gauge read 71 turned off A/C and rolled down windows after 20 minutes or so I looked at outside temp gauge and it was reading 27C. Don't you just love these little surprises you just never know when or what going on. I need to get manual out and find out how to switch it back to degrees.

It IS in degrees..... degrees Celsius.
I think to switch it, you need to change it in your DIC from metric to English. You may also want to check your speedo as if this is the case, it is probably reading in km instead of miles.

One way this could happen is if you accidentally hit the drivers options button on the door. My driver 2 options are set for driving in the US, so mph, degrees F, and so on. Driver 1 is set for metric here in Canada. That would mean that one of those profiles were already set up for metric.
