Check the door pad by switching left and right doors. If it works, then it’s the door pad itself. You can remove and disassemble it to clean it or replace it. Fairly cheap part at your dealer. If the swap doesn’t work the problem, may be the latch . Search both possibilities on this forum and you’ll find write ups on how to switch the pads and how to replace the latch assembly.

Go e-bay and look the pads up, there cheap, and easy to replace, two screws and connector.
The price it doesn't pay to dissemble, replace is better, and there OEM!
We all have had this problem, with water getting in and shorting out the circuit.
