If your car is due for an oil change, I would change it before the storage

The reasoning behind changing the oil before storing a car is to minimize the amount of combustion byproducts in the oil, specifically acids and moisture. It seems many vette owners don't put that many miles on their car annually, but even so, it's recommended to change the oil once a year minimally, so if you're in that situation, why not change it before storing it?
