So back to the question, and although all the C6 BCM are the same, it the GM initialization programming that is done to them for the different years. In most cases, SPS flashing them to the cars vin solves any compatibility problems, but once if a while, even this does work out well.
So start with the BCM number for your car, and remember that is will need to be Vin sps flashed to security code key learn with the rest of the modules in the car. Aslo, once vin flashed with SPS, go back in with Tech II to BCM setup, and make sure that the country of the BCM is set to your country, and then go through the RPO code list to make sure they are correct as well. Hence if you are running an after market radio, and Nav is selected in the RPO list, deselect it.

Thanks a lot man that's a wonderful info and thanks for taking the time to respond well yes im gonna end buying another one cause mine it's fucked up ..so because this one you showed me was in another car in order to make it work on mine I have to reprogram it right ???
Any different BCM put in the car, will need to be SPS flashed to the car's vin.
There is no plug and play swap units, including a brand new one from GM (that has to be vin flashed to the car as well).

No on C6, and if you go into BCM set up with Tech 2, here is where you can select if car has M6 or auto trans isntead.
Also to point out, SPS flash that uses the vin, should set the BCM to the correct trans type to start with, but helps to go back into BCM set up after the fact, to make sure items in the RPO list are correctly selected.
On C7's and up, that is where the replacement BCM has to match the car type (convert or coupe) as well as the trans in the car.
