Remove console question

Default Remove console question
I’m going to remove my console on my 2010 conv. and fix the stuck in park issue. I’ve read numerous posts and viewed several videos. A couple of questions:
does the waterfall need to be removed before console removal?
any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

Just did mine for peace of mind, super easy. Just follow the youtube vids and you'll be fine.

The waterfall does not need to be removed. The console is attached by screws just in front of the armrest of the console cover.
