Default Does this look normal ???

Was driving and all of a sudden the engine started cutting out and missing like crazy, pulled over and thank God I found a loose wire connected to the most forward passenger side coil.

I put it back in place and car runs perfectly again, but this is the photo.of it, looks a bit rough , is this normal or should I replace it ?

I'm nearing the 60 000 mile mark on a cammed grand sport , should I consider doing a spark plug change as well ?

Thanks guys

You would be ahead if you changed the plugs and use a high performance spark plug wire while you are in there.

From the picture, it does not look right to me. How does it compare to the other wires? On a C5 I had, one of the wires at the coil had a brown burned look, presumably from a poor connection. In that instance, I had to replace both the wire and the coil.

agreed it looks a bit rough and chopped up , good idea I'll check the others to compare

Will do , definitely wouldn't hurt to do that even if they are still "ok"

Looks OK, other than the black on the terminal where it was maybe arcing when loose.
