Hey Guys. I am doing the console/bezel removal for the install of my new radio. I have the crutchfield install instructions and have looked at every DIY info on the forum. Which was a huge help with with Cig lighter plugs. I have had no trouble at all except I cannot for the life of me get the traction control button to unplug! I have tried everything and wanted to post a few pics to see if you guys that have done it can offer any assistance? I assume it should be straight forward and you lift up the tab and pull down and it should unplug. I have done this a million times and cannot get it to come out. Am I totally missing something or just maybe the plug is stuck up in there super tight? PLEASE help if you can. I appreciate it. Thanks!
Mine is a pain every time I remove the center console (which is more often than you would think). Except mine does not easily come out through the top like yours did so I have to do it blind. A small screwdriver to lift the tab helps. Just be careful not to break it ... good luck!

Yeah, I don't know how he got his loose though the top...mine will not budge...ever!
There are two tabs at the top of the TC button on opposite sides. Push those in and the button lifts out. Be careful not to push to hard or the tabs will break.

I knew that ahead of time, and still could not get it done. Dunno why...I am generally very coordinated. When it comes to auto electrical connections, I am all thumbs.
