1st off I don't know If I'm missing some of the brake hardware on my car (05 Z51 brakes) I have the stainless clips top & bottom that the ear or tab of the pad slides in the channel. Are there any other clips or spring pressure plates other than the noise/vibration shim that goes on the back of the pad? I see these in kits & don't recognize them, looks like a clip that goes in the middle?
The rears do have a center spring clip that attaches to the center cut out in the caliper, The center spring clip that comes with the front isn't used on the C6 only the C5 & the brake pads fit both C5 & C6
