All this just makes me miss San Diego even more... It was -15 when I woke up yesterday in Missouri (near KC). Today we hit 20 (almost shorts weather!) and the road treatment is starting to work - I see my street for the first time in a week now. Looking forward to spring. I haven't driven my GS since a bit before Thanksgiving.
That looks exactly like my 92 C4 except I had the painted top. I used that car as my daily and put 98k on the clock before I took a curve too fast - (yes - a stupid move on my part), slid into a guard rail, it caught the driver's side front wheel well, and flipped me into a ditch. I hung upside down locked into my seat belt for two hours before someone saw me and called the police. I walked away with a cut on my head and two broken fingers. When I went to the junk yard the next day to retrieve some personal items, the owner was shocked that I was alive. That car was totaled but the cockpit held together really well and protected me.
