I replaced my 12 Grand Sport small Black "spolier" with the
GM Racing Spoiler (aka Ron Fellows).
As I didnt have the template for drilling the far right/left holes
we used a double thickness of 3m Double Faced Body Shop
Tape to secure the below...........

Yes twice thank you but missing some important stuff.how do you unplug the brake light.instead of tapping the tail lights can you just unplug them.To tighten do you start from the middle and work out.Do the nuts get snuged or tight.what size drill bits are used. How does the 3rd brake light go into new spoiler. Can't believe theres not a templet for drilling holes.
1. Do you unplug the brake light.instead of tapping the tail lights can you just unplug them.
2. To tighten do you start from the middle and work out.
3. Do the nuts get snuged or tight.
4. What size drill bits are used.
5. How does the 3rd brake light go into new spoiler.
1. You just unplug the brake light connector where it plugs into the light
2. Tighten from the middle and work out
3. Mount nuts get snugged down ... not too tight or you may get dimples in the top of the spoiler
4. Don't remember the exact size drill bit, but get a bit a little larger than the mount studs that will go through the holes so you will have some room to move the spoiler around a little to get it aligned nicely
5. 3rd brake light goes into the new spoiler basically the same as it did in the small OEM spoiler (using the OEM screws from the OEM spoiler)
