Default Passenger side window

Hi Everyone .. I recently purchased a 2009 beautiful blade silver C6 coupe and it has one or two little issues . One is the passenger window down in the corner by the side view mirror there is a slight adjustment that needs to be done as the window just is a little off and when it is all the way up it doesnt seal perfectly there .. So I get wind noise in the cockpit. after 60 mph or so ... ruins the whole experience really I was hoping there is an adjustment because the rest of the window seals perfectly and it is just that lower corner that is 1/16 of an inch to low ... Where should i take it to besides the dealer as they want 195.00 just to take of the door panel, which does need to be done but I was looking to spend closer to 100.00 tops for the repair .. any suggestions ?

You could check some good body shops in your area. Or you tube it. The door panel isn’t that difficult to remove, sounds like your breaking stuff but it’s just a feature of the plastic clips....

Take it to an auto glass shop. They should be able to fix it! Let the dealer be your last resort!

I hate to "break" it to you, but you just bought a car that carries a heftier price tag for repairs than most other Made in the USA brands. The members here who make out the best - and I'm not one of them - are the members who can turn a wrench on their own cars.

Have you tried to index the window with the door closed ? Can’t hurt to try.

Do you want the job done right?
Do you want the job done fast?
Do you want the job done cheap?

You can pick any two.

I haven't worked on C6 window glass, but often times what you need to do to get the glass fitting correctly is get access to the regulator by removing the door panel, then loosen that part that attaches the glass to the regulator, then, with the door closed, run the window up until it stops. At that point the glass will conform to the opening correctly. Then, with the door still closed, tighten the glass back to the regulator, and re-install the door panel.
