Default First corvette, first problem

I bought my first corvette 4 weeks ago, for three weeks its sat at a dealership with a "low power" code. I was told I need a new ECU. Ive been searching for a week and can't find one. Does anyone here have any advice on where I can locate one. PT # 19210071. TIA.

What's the chance your dealer's service department checked the battery? A lot of stories around here about how wacky things get with bad batteries.

Try here - https://www.wholesalegmpartsonline.c.../19210071.html

I was able to load it into the 'cart', so maybe they have one. Refurbished, though. Good Luck.

Like this one?

or this one?

They are lots of them for sale. That part # is a common GM ECU. There are used ones, new ones, or refurbs available.

That is really good C6 Corvette advice right there. When weird electrical stuff starts occurring...start with the battery.

A lot of the electrical issues would not exist if people would just drive their Corvette regularly.

If you had winter with ice, snow, salt, and around or below freezing weather for 4 months of the year, would you drive you Vette in it?

Not likely, but I personally keep it plugged into a battery tender from Dec-Apr.

Yes yes... Number one Corvette Rule... Replace the battery with new battery... then carry on with your trouble shooting.... Batteries are inexpensive, plentiful and the base for many Corvette short comings.. Aquire a new battery every 3 years and don't trust anyones advice without knowing about your battery! Ask me how I know!
