Default Finally found a C6

I sold my '95 last August and have been looking for a C5 or C6 ever since. The prices of everything is much higher than a year ago that took some getting used to. Missed out on a couple of really nice '08's but found this nice '13 that was the right color and had only 1500 miles. I got it for $35k which is more than I wanted to spend but in this marked not a bad price. My goal is to get it to 100k miles.

Nice find, looks like a nice car. Good price for a super low mile 1LT too.

Congratulations, it's a beautiful car. I have a 2010 vert in the same color.

Great find and excellent goal. Too many people have these cars as garage art and don't fully enjoy the driving experience of these cars. I drive my Corvette every day to work and back and still look for reasons to drive it every chance I can on the weekends. You will really appreciate the tremendous improvements of the C6 structure, suspension and LS engine from the C4 generation.

I too went from a C4 to a C6 and as much as I loved the old 4 the 6 is a very different beast altogether. It might not take you as long as you think it will to get to 100K miles 👍

1500 miles? Doggone thing is practically worn out! Seriously, what a great find. It looks beautiful and you will have 98,500 miles left of much enjoyment. Congratulations.

Beautiful Victory Red C6
I got mine in the same color!
Since you plan on keeping her long term
I highly recommend investing in some
Morimoto headlights & tail lights

Never worry about money unless you don't have any, last time I was at the mint in Washington they were printing it and stacking it on pallets . Those seat feel better when your wallet is not too thick. Enjoy your car and your life. Smiles make everyone's day brighter!

Congrats, I also went from a C4 to a ‘13. First thing replace that head unit with one that has bluetooth, xxxxplay and add a back up camera and maybe even a forward camera for parking in lots.

You don't need cameras if you know how to park.

That is an interesting suggestion regarding the lights, one of the huge differences between this car and the C4 is the lights. I am amazed at how good they are, but I will check into the Morimoto set up, would be nice if they were even better.

I have thought about a back up camera as my head doesn't turn all the way around like it used to.

I only have the standard radio without the NAV display, can that be changed out? I bought a weathertech cup holder phone mount which seems to work pretty good to use the phone to navigate.

Yes you can replace the factory head unit, check crutchfield they have lots of options and tools and pre-made wiring connections for ease of install. Of course you can park without cameras but it makes it a lot easier with the limited view and crossing traffic/pedestrians small animals etc..

The C6 is the first generation with exposed headlights so it’s much different than any Corvette before it.
Now the Morimoto’s aren’t cheap but they’re worth the money unless you prefer the retro look.
As for a backup camera, I picked up a solar powered one off Amazon for around $183.
Plug & play instillation w/ no wiring!
