With the recent time change I updated the time but then I noticed that on my 2007 the date appeared on the top center of my audio screen to the left of the time. However it read: “Wednesday July 30 2001.”
Anyone know how to change the date if there is even a way to do it? Just pressing it didn’t do anything. Didn’t see it in the manual either.
Thanks
I don't think the date can be reset without downloading a CD/DVD update which from what I understand is a real hassle. The date is pretty useless anyway because it only stays up about 5 seconds.
In order to get the correct date, you will need the Nav clock fix disc. There is a sticky on this, and it is super easy to do once you copy the file to a CD-R disc. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...k-nav-fix.html

yeah thanks guys... I thought it might have to do with the Nav-cd but wasn’t sure. Thanks again!
The technical reason your clock is displaying 2001 has everything to do with Einstein and atomic clocks in earth orbit. The fact that there's a simple free DVD fix is a bit of a miracle given how hard GM tried to ignore the problem they created.
